Chocolate bunnies make me drool

Wealth and poverty are recurring themes in the book of James- what do you think are the most important insights a Christian can gain on this topic after reading James.
Money can bring good and harm. I feel as today in our age, or at least our generation has not necessarily a "problem" but is for sure a topic that brings on the heat for some this matter is touchy and for some it is not. Could this be because we have money or because we do not? Or perhaps it could be because we use our money for the wrong intensions or purposes that it's mean to be used for. Now what would that look like? Using your financial wealth given to you for in a sense the greater good. Not just the greater good for your self but also for whatever else it may pertain towards. As Christians if we health we shouldn't boast or rub it in others faces. But give generously and to help Gods kingdom. how though? Money to churches  or to good causes for instance.  What about those who aren't as wealthy or have "nothing"? Give what you have, not what you an afford to give. It all comes down to where is your heart. Selfish gain or a desire and need to help others. I think in today's age this is a problem to all ages and wherever you are in the world. God has blessed us with everything we have. At least should we not give some of what he has given us back? We should. But also not in a hottie manor. Be a reflection of Christ. Put him first and everything falls into place even if it doesn't seem like it at the time.

  1. Your sentiment is clear and you strike a good balance between the two opposing views. However, there are no references to scripture in this post.
